Welcome to New England Medical Physics Consultants - a medical physics consulting company specialized in diagnostic radiological physics and radiation safety.

We provide medical physics inspection services for all diagnostic imaging equipment including CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, mammography, radiography, fluoroscopy, dental x-ray, and ultrasound systems. We also offer services in new equipment acceptance testing, shielding design, shielding testing, imaging protocol optimization, patient dose calculation, and radiation safety management. We perform physics tests required by ACR for accreditation of mammography, CT, MRI and nuclear medicine equipment.

All of our consultants are PhD's in physics, medical physics, or engineering and have extensive experience in all diagnostic imaging modalities. Our testing protocols are developed based on recommendations from NCRP, ICRP, AAPM, and ACR. All testing reports are reviewed by a senior physicist who is certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiological physics.
